Would you want to live forever? If one day they discover the elixir of life, would you take it to become immortal? Think about it. You will never get sick. You will never worry about dying. You will never have so little time to do what you want coz you will have all the time (literally) to do what you please. You will see the future that your contemporaries did not have the chance to see. Sounds good. But on the contrary, who would want to live forever when all those you love have already died? You would see others come into this world and die. How awful!
