My Pest este, Pets pala May nakita akong quiz kahapon sa tickles.com na “What kind of dog are you?” Heto ang resulta:
Pug? Mahal na aso yan hindiba? Naalala ko tuloy. Bakit nga ba bumibili ang mga tao ng mga asong nagkakahalaga ng 15,000 o 45,0000? Mas affectionate ba ang mga ito kesa sa mga askal? Mula kasi noong bata pa ako, askal lang ang mga naging aso ko. Una kong naaalala si Dagar na ang tawag ko noon ay Dagay at si Coco. Alam ko yan kasi may tape (cassette) ako noong 2 years old and 11 days ako (New Year’s Eve yun kaya alam ko) na ini-interview ako at inuuto ng mga tita at mga pinsan ko. May eksena doon na tinatanong ako kung ano ang pangalan ng aso ko at Dagay ang sinagot ko. Meron ding scene doon na pinapakanta ako ng Bahay Kubo para daw makatulog si Coco. Sa kalagitnaan ng kanta, tumigil ako at sinabi kong, “Saan met makaturog ni Coco!”

Yahu Hindi ko ipagpapalit ang mga naging aso ko at mga aso ko sa kasalukuyan sa mga mamahaling pure-bred na aso. Una dahil wala akong pambili at pangalawa, kahit na kakaiba ang itsura at tarantado ang mga aso ko sa kasalukuyan, mahal nila ako. The Amazing Race 6 My favorite reality show, The Amazing Race started its 6th season last week. In my opinion (and the Emmy people too), this is the best reality show. Sabi nga ng isang Pinoy fan na si Meako, “The show takes your breath away. It's not a TV show--it's an experience”. Eleven Teams compete. At dahil two episodes pa lang napapanood ko, the teams that stuck in my mind are:

Aside from being busy preparing the "rush" reports from our Central Office, we spent a considerable time this past days looking for the cheapest package tour to Bangkok. Brenda, our designated tour coordinator-cum-accountant-cum budget officer (ako ang assistant) was also busy calling some friends who might be interested to join us para makatipid kami. Grabe siya mag-account ng gastos. Pati film and developing kasali. We are choosing between Smallworld Travel and Jammie's Travel, may $6.50 difference kasi. Yup, ganyam kami kakuripot. kahit $1 lang 'yan, pera din yan. As of today, five na kaming interesado, me, rina, brenda, janet and jep. I am (pati rin sila siguro) very excited sa trip na ito. This will be my first trip abroad kung matutuloy. Hay, sana matuloy kami. Sana may available na slot sa November 26. Please.... I am currently reading Sybil (by Flora Rheta Schreiber). I first heard the book from my Psycho 13 - Industrial Psychology instructor in college. Sybil Isabel Dorsett is a pseudonym created by the author to protect the identity of Shirley Ardell Mason - a successful artist who suffered from multiple personality syndrome (MSD). She was was diagnosed as having 16 multiple personalities, both male and female selves. I am enjoying the book partly because it was written from the standpoint of Sybil's friend and not the doctor who psychoanalyzed her. Ordinary persons like me could better understand Sybil because the author made use laymen' terms. I was moved when I read the parts which explained Sybil's childhood traumas which lead to her illness. But today, I read an article saying that Sybil was a fraud. A psychologist, after listening to the tapes of the sessions Dr. Cornelia B. Wilbur had with Sybil, has concluded that the multiple personalities were actually constructions by the psychiatrist to help Sybil explain why her behaviors seemed so strange to herself. It seemed that both patient and doctor got carried away with the idea and so, still according to the article, took advantage of it and made millions. The royalties from Sybil the book and the TV movie were allegedly split three ways, between Sybil, Schreiber, and Wilbur. Ano ba talaga kuya??? Ako, tandang-tanda ko pa. The spanking was courtesy of Mrs. Angelita A. Carig, my Grade I teacher. Ganito ang kwento. May assignment kami nun sa Math, yun bang guguhit ka ng ilang mga bagay bagay depende sa number na nakalagay dun. Ganito yun:
Syempre dahil Grade 1 pa lang ako, masunurin ako. Ginawa ko sa bahay ang aking homework para bukas. Inipit ko ito sa aking makapal pang pad paper. Pagdating ng Math period kinabukasan as expected, pinapasa na ni Mrs. Carig ang aming homework. Hinanap ko ng hinanap ang ginawa ko, bunulatlat ko ng binulatlat ang aking pad paper, pati na ang apat ko pang notebook na nasa bag ko. WALA! as in nawawala ang aking pinaghirapang homework! In short, wala akong nasubmit kaya napalo ako- ang aking kauna-unahan at kahuli-huliang palo sa school. Pero saan nga ba napunta ang aking homework? Ayun siya, nakasabit sa aking pad paper. It was sembreak (kunyari school girl pa ako) so we went to play bowling and badminton with Jun and my cousins. Blowout ko kasi nasa Dean's List si Aiza and Cel. First time magbowling ni Cel, Donna and Shermaine. Donna was a revelation, she even outscored me and Aiza (who is a badminton player) scored the lowest - 53. Bwahahahaha, puros kanal!!! Magbadminton ka na lang. June scored the highest because i was there to provide inspiration (nyahahaha!) 
Donna with her winning form After an hour of bowling, we went to the newly opened Pizza Hut. Sus ang gulo namin-walang pakialam kung kami ang pinakamaingay sa loob. After getting our tummies filled, we went to Smash Mountain for Aiza's revenge. And she got it. Natalo kami. Konti lang naman lamang 17-15.Hay kakapagod but it was very fun. Dumaan kami ng CSI after kasi nagpabili pa si Nanay ng Miswa. Nagtrip kaming magpapicture kasama ang mga manequins sa department store.
